There’s plenty to do at McCaslin Mountain Campground.

McCaslin Mountain Campground offers a variety of activities for your family to enjoy while staying with us. The Camp Store includes a game area with video games and outside in the yard we have a rainbow playground and a new water slide for the children. There is an 18 hole miniature golf course, fun for all ages.

In addition, there are many opportunities for outdoor recreation in the area. McCaslin Mountain Campground borders the beautiful Nicolet National Forest on the western edge of Marinette County in northeastern Wisconsin. Our location is ideal in any season for the outdoor enthusiast. Marinette County boasts the most miles of trout steams of any county in Wisconsin and we are also just a short distance from the newly established Governor Thompson State Park and the Peshtigo River State Forest surrounding Caldron Falls and High Falls Flowage. In addition, there are over 60 small lakes in the surrounding area to please the most avid of fishermen.

McCaslin Mountain Campground offers direct access to local ATV trails in Oconto, Forest and Marinette Counties. Also nearby are snowmobile trails as well as hiking and biking trails in the National Forest. Other popular activities in this area include hunting, boating, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding.

For the avid hunter, McCaslin Mountain Campground offers Guide Service for the following hunts:

  • Guided Deer Bow Hunts – Available September thru December
  • Guided Bear Hunts – Available September thru October for Zone B
  • Guided Deer Rifle Hunts – Available November thru December in Areas 45 and 49A
  • Guided Turkey Hunts – Available for Spring and Fall Seasons

All hunters must obtain their own licenses and permits.
